St Peter's Lutheran School

We offer a safe Christian environment that endeavours to provide a diverse learning environment that nurtures mutual respect, love and care.

Our school is unique as it is a small school with small class sizes and a low pupil-to-teacher ratio. This allows us to devote the most time possible to each student and contributes to the sense of family within our school. Our classrooms are well-equipped with updated resources including a fleet of modern laptops and iPads, allowing students one-to-one access to these devices. Touchscreen televisions in each classroom are well utilised in our teaching and learning activities.

At St Peter's Lutheran Primary School we have a rigorous and challenging curriculum. Our experienced and carefully appointed teachers have a wide range of expertise, skills, and knowledge which we have incorporated into our broad and stimulating curriculum.

Our vision is to nurture, develop and inspire lifelong learning within our caring community.

Amalgamation

On Friday our school community would have received the exciting news that in 2025 our school has made the decision to merge with Nhill Lutheran School and Holy Trinity Lutheran school under the new banner of Wimmera Lutheran College. This is such an exciting opportunity for our school and the children of the Wimmera. This amalgamation will provide significant opportunities for our school as we continue to provide the best available learning programs for students. The decision to amalgamate is about thinking to the future and ensuring we are well-equipped and supported in providing more opportunities for students. St. Peter's Lutheran School has a rich history and is committed to maintaining its unique identify and small school spirit during this process. Please, if you have any questions or concerns around this, feel free to get in contact with me.

National Ride2School Day

Last Friday was National Ride2School Day, so Ms. Dent, Miss. Ross, Mrs. Wren, and lots of students met at Pickering Gardens this morning ready to either ride their bikes, scooters or even roller blades to school. It was pretty fresh to start with, but the little bodies warmed up as we got moving.

Good Friday appeal/Last Day Term 1

After today, Term one will have been and gone. It's been a great term with so many things happening. We've enjoyed swimming lessons, our swimming carnival, experienced catastrophic weather days, attended the field days and so much more. Today students have enjoyed dressing up as what they would like to be when they grow up. I have enjoyed learning about all their career choices for the future. It's also been a great opportunity to raise much appreciated funds for the Good Friday Appeal.

Holidays/Term 2

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Easter with friends and family. Term 2 will begin on Monday 15th April. We will be looking forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces when they return.
